- Personal trainers. Session packs and monthly PT retainers, invoiced per client at the rate you actually agreed.
- Dance and fitness coaches. Batches, drop-ins and workshop seats — the same class-pack shape as Zumba.
- Pilates instructors. Small-group and one-to-one rates side by side, with the pack counting itself down.
- Makeup artists. Bridal packages and trials, usually booked months ahead and paid in two parts.
- Content creators. Brand deliverables and retainers invoiced to a person who pays by UPI, not a procurement system.
Who Croodit is not for
A shop, a kirana store or anyone selling from stock. You need items, purchase entries and a stock ledger, and an inventory-first billing app does that far better. We say so plainly on our Vyapar alternative page, including the part where Vyapar's Android plan is cheaper per year than Croodit Pro.
A studio or institute with staff. Instructor payouts, class booking, timetables and admissions are a different product — look at a studio or coaching management platform such as Momoyoga or Bookee. Croodit has no concept of staff.
Anyone whose product is the programme, not the class. If you write individual workout or nutrition plans, track measurements and progress week by week, and your clients open an app to read them, fee collection should ride along on that app rather than sit in a second one. Anyone invoicing companies against purchase orders. You want email delivery, payment terms and an audit trail: Refrens or Zoho Invoice. A WhatsApp nudge does not move an accounts payable cycle.
Anyone billing project work, where the scope changes every time. A shoot, a campaign, a branding brief — you describe the job in a sentence rather than tapping a saved package, and a quotation or an e-signed contract matters more than a class-pack countdown. Common questions before you pick a page
I'm a solo trainer in India and my clients pay me by UPI — is Croodit the right kind of app for me, or do I need billing software?
If your clients are individuals who pay you personally, Croodit is the closer fit. GST billing software — Vyapar, myBillBook, Zoho Invoice — is built around items, stock and a tax return, which suits a shop or a small business with a back office. Croodit is built around a roster of people, packages of sessions and a WhatsApp message. If you also sell products out of stock, buy the billing software instead; the shape of your business should decide, not the price.
My profession isn't listed here — does that mean Croodit won't work for me?
No. The pages above exist because those five have genuinely different economics worth writing about, not because the app behaves differently. Croodit works for anyone who sells their own time or packages to individuals who pay by UPI: personal trainers, pilates instructors, makeup artists, dance coaches and content creators all use the same packages, invoices, tracking and reminders. You set your own menu, so the profession is mostly a matter of what you name things.
Does Croodit send messages to my clients automatically?
Never, and this is deliberate rather than a limitation. On day 3, 7 and 10 after an unpaid invoice, Croodit sends a notification to you with the reminder already drafted for that client's chat. You read it, edit it if you want, and press send from your own WhatsApp. Nothing reaches a client without you — because an automated chaser to someone you teach at 6am tomorrow is exactly the message you would not have sent.
What does Croodit cost, and is there a free plan?
Free forever for up to seven clients, with unlimited invoices and unlimited reminders to them and no card required. Croodit Pro lifts the limit to unlimited clients at ₹199 a month or ₹1,599 a year, after a 14-day free trial. The paid tier is triggered by an eighth client, not by an invoice count — you will never hit a wall mid-month for sending too many invoices.
Can I use Croodit today?
On Android, yes — Croodit is live on Google Play and free for up to 7 clients. The iPhone app comes later, so on an iPhone you can join the waitlist.
